Airport Dimensions and Ambaar Lounge reveal four new Brazilian airport venues

BRAZIL. Airport lounge and travel experience specialist Airport Dimensions and Ambaar Lounge have confirmed the locations of four new Ambaar Club venues at Brazilian airports.

The joint venture partners said two lounges are in development at Salvador Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport. The others are in the international terminals at Salgado Filho Porto Alegre International and Fortaleza-Pinto Martins International airports.

The partners claim the Ambaar Club brand is elevating airport lounge experiences in Brazil to a new level

The partners said these Ambaar Club lounges will be “hyper-localised bespoke environments unique to this market”. Each lounge will feature fixtures produced by local craftsman and décor designed to appeal to local travellers who can identify with the ambiance, as well as international passengers seeking authentic travel experiences.

Full details of each individual lounge will be revealed in the lead-up to their openings.

Rigorous training and mentoring for all team members who staff the lounges will ensure that service standards are exceptionally high, the partners said.

Airport Dimensions formed its JV with Ambaar last year. The partners have already opened three lounges in Brazil airports at Viracopos-Campinas International, Salgado Filho Porto Alegre International and Fortaleza-Pinto Martins International.

Airport Dimensions Vice President Global Business Development Chris Gwilliam said all three lounges are performing extremely well and continue to grow guest counts every month.

He added: “We are extremely pleased with the progress we are making in terms of further expansion in this important South American market. Our aim is to bring a quality lounge service to Brazil’s top airports across the country.

“Each of these new openings will further reinforce our geographical coverage across the country and will mean we have a presence that spans the entire north and east coasts.

“Our new locations are all in top ten Brazilian airports with paths of considerable growth that are cementing their reputations as gateways to the world as travel recovers.”

Ambaar Lounge Business Development Director Julien de Borchgrave said: “A guest-focused attitude means our lounges are very well received by travellers, who appreciate the high standards they can enjoy, as well as by our airport partners.

“Our approach means that far from being a waiting room that airports were compelled to offer, Brazilian airports can now see lounges that generate genuine excitement and really improve the time their passengers spend at the airport.

“Our lounges are creating a buzz across the industry – the airports we’re speaking to are impressed with the way our lounges look and feel and are keen to have their own versions at their own terminals.”
