HONG KONG. With two major core category tenders out of the way, Airport Authority Hong Kong is set to bring another attractive opportunity to market.
The confectionery tender will be “ready to roll by the end of the month”, The Moodie Davitt Report has learned.
The business is currently held by DFS Group as part of its Airside General Merchandise concession (scrapped in a revamped structural mix this time around) but is now being offered to the market as a dedicated contract.
The tender is likely to attract the interest of the winners of the liquor & tobacco and perfume & cosmetics and fashion accessories tenders CDF-Lagardère (either bidding separately or together) and Shilla as well as numerous other international retailers and regional specialists.
