Airmall launches Thanks Again rewards programme at BWI Marshall

USA. Airmall Maryland has launched the Thanks Again loyalty and rewards programme at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall), offering frequent flyer miles or hotel points to travellers for parking, shopping or dining at the airport.

BWI Marshall claims to be the first airport in the region to offer the free customer rewards programme.

Airport employees and passengers can enroll using a credit or debit card at www.thanksagain.com/BWI and link those cards to other rewards programmes which they already participate in, such as Southwest Airlines Rapids Rewards or Hilton HHonors Rewards. Purchases made at participating shops and restaurants at the Airmall at BWI Marshall earns members one mile or two hotel points for every dollar spent.

Airmall Maryland Vice President Brett Kelly said: “We’re pleased to further our commitment to enhancing the traveller experience by offering another great reason to shop and dine at the Airmall at BWI Marshall. The Thanks Again customer rewards programme is a great way for us to show our appreciation for travellers and airport employees alike.”

The BWI Marshall Airport website also provides a link for employees or passengers to register for the programme at bwiairport.com/en/service/thanksagain. That link includes a QR code that can be scanned to enroll and earn 100 bonus airline miles or 200 bonus hotel points. More than 100 airports nationwide participate in the Thanks Again programme, along with thousands of local businesses.

BWI Marshall Chief Executive Officer Paul J Wiedefeld commented: “We think the initiative is a great way to reward and thank our travellers for their loyalty. Thanks Again is a new way to enhance the customer experience at BWI Marshall and for travellers to earn points or miles before their flight even departs.”
