USA. Airmall has enhanced the pre-security food & beverage offering at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
The company has opened a Starbucks coffee house and Steak ‘n Shake by Biglari restaurant.
The 435sq ft Starbucks has opened on the lower level in the Southwest Airlines baggage claim area. It will serve hot and cold drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks from its bakery.
Also open in the Main Terminal Food Court is the 880sq ft Steak ‘n Shake by Biglari. The menu will feature the 100% beef ‘steakburgers’ and hand-dipped milkshakes that gave the restaurant its name, as well as other speciality items including the Frisco Melt, Classic Footlong, Grilled Chicken and Chicken Fingers.
“Starbucks and Steak ‘n Shake are welcome sights for travellers looking for a quick treat on-the-go,” said Airmall Maryland Vice President Brett Kelly. “We are very pleased to bring these well-known national brands, operated by local Maryland companies, to [the airport].”
