Air Partner unveils Mark Aldridge as Chief Marketing Officer

UK. Global aviation services group Air Partner – which specialises in aircraft charter, aviation safety and security solutions – has announced the appointment of Mark Aldridge as Chief Marketing Officer.

His role will involve overseeing the company’s global strategic marketing operations with a core focus on customer, digital and brand. 

Aldridge brings four decades of marketing and retail experience to Air Partner.

After launching his career in retail, he joined BAA Retail/World Duty Free Limited in the late 1990s.

There, he rose to Head of Brand Marketing Communications, overseeing consumer and corporate marketing communications, as well as online campaigns and events for all seven airports then operated by BAA.

His achievements include playing a key role in the transformation of Terminal 5 at London’s Heathrow Airport into a showpiece for airport shopping.

He also launched Victoria’s Secret Beauty in Europe with a senior team from The Limited, and managed Eurotunnel retail marketing while the retail operation was run by BAA.

More recently, Aldridge was a consultant for Lakrids by Bülow and has gained extensive retail sector experience with brands including Marks & Spencer and Signet Trading, with both UK and international remits.

Aldridge is a CIM Chartered Marketer, a long-term Patron for Teenage Cancer Trust, and Air Partner noted he has has won numerous awards for marketing, digital and cause-related campaigns that he has created and led.
