OMAN/INTERNATIONAL. Airports International Council (ACI) Asia-Pacific, ACI Europe and ACI World have combined to launch a new addition to the airport conference calendar. Airport Innovate – to be staged on 7-8 December in Muscat, Oman – will focus on the industry’s advancements in technology, business and strategy and provide insights into the latest sector trends.
The ACI organisations described the event – with ACI World Business Partners and the wider airport community encouraged to attend – as “an opportunity for the global aviation community to meet, learn, inspire and collaborate”.
The inaugural event is being co-organised with Oman Airports Management Company, which will also host the gathering. The venue is the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.
A key element of the event will be conference addresses in the newly-created World Business Partner Arena. The organisers said speaking opportunities are available to cover areas such as digital transformation, passenger facilitation, consulting and security. Sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to apply.
The event’s elements include a Small and Emerging Airports Seminar (SEAS), the opportunity for one-to-one meetings and updates on the latest trends of the industry through presentations, seminars and workshops.
