POLAND. Flemingo-owned Baltona Duty Free held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its six new stores at Wroclaw Airport last night (30 August).
The image below captures the moment when the stores – which include Wrocław Duty Free, Spirit of Poland, Fashion Boutique and Zoom – were declared officially open.
As reported, the shops occupy a total area of 800sq m. One is landside; four are located in departures in the Schengen area; and there is an additional store in the Non-Schengen zone. Baltona said the offer was inspired by the colourful heart of Wrocław, with the shops drawing on the architectural legacy of the city while offering contemporary retail concepts.
