“A true Trinity partnership”: Dufry and Clinique mark International Women’s Day at Manchester Airport

UK. Dufry has partnered with Manchester Airport and Clinique to celebrate International Women’s Day. In what Dufry hailed as a “true Trinity partnership”, a branded takeover from Clinique iD runs across the airport through the month of March.

Girl power: The activation runs from the arrivals luggage hall, with a carousel of Clinique gifts, to a Clinique #FindMyiD pop-up in Terminals 1 and 2, with VR activities and gifts with purchase.

As part of Clinique’s worldwide International Women’s Day campaign, the activation starts with a transformation of the arrivals luggage hall with a carousel of Clinique gifts. Manchester Airport will also have a Clinique #FindMyiD pop-up in Terminals 1 and 2, with VR activities and gifts with purchase.

To promote the event, Clinique invited brand partners to capture passengers’ “surprise and delight” on the day, to share on their social media channels.

The immersive Clinique iD experience runs across the entire site including in the Biza Tax & Duty Free stores, with staff prepared to give one to one consultations and beauty advice.

Clinique and Dufry staff present gifts to surprise travellers, with consultations and beauty advice also on offer.

Dufry UK Head of Beauty Krista Suresh said: “This is a true Trinity partnership between ourselves, Manchester Airport and Clinique and we are delighted to play our part in bringing this airport activation to life.  It will create so much excitement and customer engagement for passengers arriving at the airport and for those departing passengers visiting our Biza Tax & Duty Free stores.”

Manchester Airport Commercial Director Stephen Turner said: “This partnership is set to offer something different and unique to our passengers this month, and it is great to work in collaboration with such exciting and high profile brands.

“We are always looking to offer our customers the very best experience when they travel through Manchester Airport, and this will be very fitting, seeing as it forms part of our wider International Women’s Day activity, and I am sure it will be well received.”
