A toast to the golden age of flying: Duty Free Global and Silent Pool Distillers preview Pan Am brand in Cannes

The Pan Am brand expresses a nostalgia for the golden age of flying. 

Independent drinks specialist Duty Free Global and Silent Pool Distillers will be previewing the Pan Am Spirits brand at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next week (25-28 October).

Pan Am and Silent Pool Distillers have partnered through Pink Key Licensing. The partnership will see Pan Am branded gin, vodka and pre-mixed cocktails distributed in the European, US and Japanese travel retail markets.

The Pan Am brand captures the golden age of flying and is identifiable by its famous blue globe logo. The Pan Am Airline is one of the most recognisable airlines of the 20th century.

Silent Pool Distillers Managing Director and Founder Ian McCulloch said: “We are very excited to be able to bring this brand to market in a whole new way. With travel starting to resume and consumers forming much more romantic and nostalgic connections with their favourite destinations, there’s no better time to connect them to a bygone era in a contemporary way.

“We believe that the Spirit of Pan Am will garner particular attention in key US airports, as well as important European and Asia hubs.”

Duty Free Global is exhibiting at J35 Green Village at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
