A dream comes true for lucky shopper at Auckland International The Loop Duty Free

NEW ZEALAND. Local traveller Victoria Silwood has won a Harley-Davidson motorbike in a lucky draw at The Loop Duty Free at Auckland International Airport.

The Loop Duty Free New Zealand ‘Win a Harley Davidson’ competition ran in November and December last year. It offered customers spending over NZ$100 (US$68) the opportunity to claim the motorbike, valued at NZ$11,710 (US$8,000).

“A true showstopper”: A Harley-Davidson 500 motorcycle was up for grabs in The Loop Duty Free New Zealand draw.

Silwood, an Aucklander, made her winning purchase after a holiday in Brisbane, Australia.

“I still can’t quite believe that we have won an actual Harley-Davidson,” she said. “My husband, Matt, and I almost purchased a Harley ten years ago, so this has always been a life-long dream for us. This is so exciting. Thank you so much The Loop Duty Free.”

Throughout the competition, a Harley-Davidson Street 500 motorcycle was showcased in The Loop Duty Free Departures store at Auckland International Airport.

A dream come true: Victoria Silwood and her husband Matt claim her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The Loop Duty Free New Zealand General Manager Tom Byrne commented: “The Loop Duty Free New Zealand prides itself on creativity and creating experiences for travellers while they shop.

“Providing the chance for customers to not only see, but to be in with a chance to win an iconic Harley-Davidson created huge buzz throughout our store. It was a true showstopper.”
