‘A celebration of Sydney’: AWPL introduces Merchant destination concept to Sydney Airport

AUSTRALIA. Specialist travel retailer AWPL has opened a Merchant store at Sydney Airport.

The Terminal 2 destination retail concept offers a new ‘Best of Sydney’ experience, with product categories including gifts and souvenirs, local produce, wine and spirits, skincare, homeware, local art, apparel and toys.

“A visit to Merchant will form an integral part of the customer journey through Sydney Airport, and further enhance the already strong Sense of Place throughout all three terminals,” AWPL said.

AWPL said Merchant spotlights local producers and opportunities for customers to “take home a piece of Sydney”. Local brands include chocolate specialist Darrell Lea, BeePower, Bondi Wash, Manly Spirits, Mudgee Wines, Inoko candles, Duck Creek Macadamias and The Rocky Road House.

Merchant also hosted the launch of AWPL-exclusive souvenir brand Love Love Australia.
