A blossoming bouquet: Jo Malone London unveils new limited-edition collection

The Estée Lauder Companies has unveiled a new limited-edition collection from Jo Malone London. It is available in worldwide travel retail.

The new collection combines ‘mouth-watering citrus fruits and serene floating blossoms’ said the brand. Some of the key ingredients include invigorating Yuja and Waterlily flowers, combined with Osmanthus Blossom and Silk Blossom. The last two will be available for a limited time only.

The line-up is completed by Jo Malone London’s signature Orange Blossom scent, which is also available in special edition Home Candle (200g) and Diffuser (165ml) formats.

The full range offers the Waterlily Flower Cologne, Yuja Cologne, Osmanthus Blossom Cologne, Orange Blossom Cologne, and Silk Blossom Cologne in 30ml and 100ml sizes.

The limited-edition travel retail exclusive ‘Spring Scents’ Collection features the Waterlily Flower Cologne, Frozen Yuzu Cologne, Osmanthus Blossom Cologne, and Orange Blossom Cologne, in a pocket-sized 9ml format.

The scents in the collection were designed to be layered on top of each other to create distinctive personalised fragrances for the wearer. The brand also encourages customers to mix and match the limited-edition range with existing Jo Malone London fragrances.

Some of Jo Malone London’s recommended pairings include Waterlily with English Pear & Freesia, Yuja with Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Osmanthus Blossom with Peony Blush & Suede, and Silk Blossom with Wild Bluebell.

The brand’s signature Orange Blossom scent is also available as a Home Candle and Diffuser format

Going strong on Globuy

As a lead business partner of The Moodie Davitt Report, Jo Malone London’s story has also appeared in Chinese and with a consumer voice on fast-growing Chinese B2C WeChat social media account Globuy [玩转全球免税], as part of a new collaboration between Globuy owner Extra-Aile Media in Shanghai and The Moodie Davitt Report.

Globuy aims to become “the KOL of Chinese travel retail” and already has 400,000 followers and a monthly audience of 1 million views for its WeChat social media platform promoting new launches, product availability, promotions and special offers. Underlining the strong affinity and complementary nature of the two companies work, Globuy has dubbed The Moodie Davitt Report “the KOL of travel retail B2B media”

Under the agreement, selected stories from The Moodie Davitt Report.com’s lead brand partners in beauty, fashion, luxury, confectionery and premium spirits are also published by Globuy in Chinese. These include product reviews by the Globuy team.

Globuy is promoting The Moodie Davitt Report’s platform to China’s travel retail sector and to its own consumer audience in China. The Moodie Davitt Report subsequently also publishes a curated selection of Chinese consumer feedback on the chosen stories and will reveal the results of regular consumer surveys conducted in association with Globuy.
