Tumi will highlight its Landon collection, described as the brand’s top premium offering, at TFWA World Exhibition (RG14 Riviera).
The range is crafted from light matte pebbled leather and is characterised by streamlined designs, clean, contemporary details and functionality.
Pieces feature hardware and magnetised anchor covers, designed to hook the removable shoulder strap with leather covers. Bag interiors feature a pocket that combines Tumi ID Lock and protective pocket functionality, to ensure security for valuables and protection from identity theft.
The Landon collection is offered in classic neutrals, black and grey leather, as well as a seasonal embossed sueded black.
The Alcott Backpack, available in all three colors, includes a dedicated padded laptop compartment and a tablet pocket. The leather pleated gusset is said to allow easy access to the main compartment of the bag without having to fully unzip it, while the Add-A-Bag strap allows the backpack to be easily stacked on top of Tumi wheeled travel pieces, said the brand.
Lowell Brief and Bradmoor Slim Brief, designed for business people, are said to be easy to carry. Both feature slim profiles with several easy-to-reach compartments for tech and business accessories. The bags also come with a detachable shoulder strap and an Add-A-Bag strap.
New Whitman Tote, described as a practical and versatile tote for everyday excursions, features a spacious interior, padded tablet pocket and multiple interior pockets.
The Howell Duffel includes a large main compartment with heavy-gauge zip closure. Other features include interior pockets and a separate drawstring bag for separating shoes from clothes. The Add-A-Bag strap also doubles as an exterior back pocket when the bottom flap is zipped closed, according to Tumi.
The Elmore International 4-Wheeled Carry-On, featuring multi-directional spinning wheels, combines traditional leather craftsmanship with a modern design.
For the 2016 holiday season, the Alcott Backpack, Whitman Tote and Bradmoor Slim Brief are available in a new, monochromatic black and white splatter paint print.
