Travel Blue powers up success with Braun, Oral-B and Duracell

Travel Blue has hailed the success of its partnership with Braun, Oral-B and Duracell, which began at the end of last year.

The selective offer of six key items across Braun, Oral-B and Duracell forms part of Travel Blue’s wider portfolio and is said to have recorded healthy sales results.

Key travel retail price points target impulse purchases of travel essentials. These include the Oral-B battery powered toothbrushes and replacement toothbrush heads, Duracell’s most powerful batteries and the Braun Mobile Shaver, along with other key items from Braun.

Travel Blue Travel Retail Director Jonathan Smith commented: “We are very encouraged with the sales results we have seen since the ranges’ initial launch last October. The three brands are renown internationally, so consumers instantly recognise the packaging and trust the quality and value of the products. Since October, our strategy has been to offer a concise range to our key customers and locations to establish a sales pattern and strong demand. As we are well on the way to achieving this, our next stage will be to expand the range later on this year.”

“2016 has proven to be very successful for our cooperation with Travel Blue,” said Klaus Mellin, owner of Tax Free Trade, P&G’s exclusive agents for Braun, Oral-B and Duracell in travel retail. “We are looking forward to seeing how the partnership develops throughout the rest of the year, especially once we have extended the range.”

The range is currently being trialled at Lisbon, Zürich, Geneva, Abu Dhabi, Beijing and Shanghai airports and will soon be available at Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Chengdu airports in China.
