Christine Howard: Over 20 years of inflight industry experience |
SOUTH AFRICA. Tourvest Inflight Retail Services has named Christine Howard as Chief Operating Officer.
Howard has over 20 years of experience in the inflight industry including 12 years managing warehousing and logistics. Over the last ten years, she has specialised in the areas of buy-on-board and boutique inflight retail operations.
She worked previously at gategroup, first as Operations Manager before being promoted to Head of European Operations, handling a number of major European airlines.
The company said that Howard is “an impressive leader with excellent client relationship management skills. Her portfolio of success includes a number of key projects, operational start-ups and driving continuous improvement across a European network”.
Chief Executive Clive Jones said: “This is a key appointment to our executive team of specialised experts and Christine joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She aligns to our business culture and client centricity principles, a crucial part of working within the Tourvest team, and has integrated seamlessly into our company.”
Howard will be responsible for developing the operational and solution design part of the business, as well as buy-on-board.
