FRANCE. In the latest edition of our popular Storewatch video series we take a close look at the walk-through wonderland of Aelia Duty Free at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport Terminal 1, recently completed as part of a a €40 million investment.
As reported, the focus now switches to T2, where an ambitious redevelopment is due to be 90% completed by May 2017.
During this month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport Commercial Business Director Filip Soete previewed the project, promising “the most surprising commercial experience in a European airport”. He pledged an intense focus on Sense of Place and a Trinity spirit of partnership between airport, retailers/F&B operators and brands.
