Porsche Design celebrates long-standing Martini partnership with new racing collection – 29/01/08

GERMANY. Porsche Design Group has launched the new Martini Racing collection, the latest addition to the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection, a product range for Porsche drivers and fans.

The red and blue collection was designed to have fashionable retro look and includes jackets, shirts and bags. It is available in Porsche centres and Porsche AG online shops.

The Martini Racing collection celebrates the partnership between Porsche and Martini Racing, which achieved its first milestone 37 years ago at the Le Mans 24 Hours motor race. The Martini Porsche 917K with starting number 22, driven by Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep, won the sports car endurance race in 1971 with an average lap time exceeding 222 km/h.

The collection also includes a Martini Racing polo shirt, the matching Martini Racing cap in white or blue as well as his-and-hers Martini Racing sweat jacket with Porsche logo.

The Martini Racing bags come in three sizes: the Martini Racing travel bag with carrier strap, the practical Martini Racing shopper and the stylish Martini Racing mini bag. The bags feature an all-over print of the 1976 Martini Porsche 935 Coupé.
