Popular Korean girlband Twice fronts Lotte Duty Free campaign

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has enlisted the popular Korean girl band Twice to front its latest promotional campaign.

The video features the nine members of the band dressed as cheerleaders in a baseball arena promoting the shopping offer.

Twice are one of many Korean Wave (hallyu) pop and drama stars that Lotte Duty Free works with to market its offer to young consumers, particularly from China and Japan.

The band are performing at the duty free retailer’s Family Festival 2016 this weekend, alongside other artists.

Korean pop and drama stars have been a key element of the way in which Lotte Duty Free and other Korean duty free retailers have marketed to young North Asia consumers over the past decade.
