Popping up in the Americas: Hudson Group opens MAC Lips Studio at Chicago O’Hare

USA. Hudson Group has opened the first MAC Lips Studio pop-up in the Americas at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The 100sq ft pop-up is located in Terminal 1’s C Concourse. It features 250 SKUs across all lip categories, including lipstick, lip liners, lip gloss and lip care. MAC artists offer travellers complimentary lip demos and application tips.

The pop-up incorporates the colour brand’s sense of colour and artistry

Dufry subsidiary Hudson worked with the City of Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), the owner and operator of O’Hare, Robinson Hill Hospitality Group, B.T. II, and Corliss Stone-Littles to open the space.

The retailer said the pop-up offers opportunities for “discovery and excitement”. Hudson Group Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development Michael Mullaney commented: “Many people discover new brands when they are travelling, and MAC Lips will offer a quick-stop shopping environment for the beauty-conscious traveller.”

CDA Deputy Commissioner of Concessions Juan Manzano said: “We are pleased that Hudson Group chose O’Hare as the venue for its first MAC Lips Studio pop-up. This internationally-known make-up brand will be well-received by travellers looking for a gift or even a quick makeover.”
