The 150-seat King David Lounge offers kosher snacks to El Al passengers

UK. Israel’s flag carrier El Al Airlines has appointed Plaza Premium Group to manage the new King David Lounge at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4.

Plaza Premium Group also announced that it would open a lounge at Heathrow T4 Arrivals in the fourth quarter of 2016 and a 90-room airport transit hotel Aerotel at T3 Arrivals in the second half of 2017. The company already has lounge operations at T4 Departures, as well as T2 Arrivals and Departures.

The 150-seat King David Lounge has been developed exclusively for El Al passengers travelling from T4, and is located close to Gate 3.

It is open between 11am and 11pm daily and serves an assortment of refreshments and a buffet-style lunch or dinner with a range of chilled and warm kosher items. The lounge also features a secluded First Class area serving exclusive delicacies.

The King David Lounge offers exclusively kosher snacks and is the only kosher diner at Heathrow.
