The Grab app service will be available at a number of outlets at Denver International in June, before a wider roll-out

The service will be implemented in June at Bar Symon at Pittsburgh International as well as Concourse C stores Magic Pan, Big Bowl, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Auntie Anne’s at Denver International. It will be available to both arriving and departing passengers.

Paradies Lagardère said it planned to launch Grab at other airports later this year.

The Grab app is available on both iOS and Android devices and also allows travellers to look at dining menus in advance and evaluate restaurant wait times. It will soon be available as a feature within the American Airlines’ mobile app following a partnership between Grab and the airline. By the end of May 2016, Grab will be live in 14 airports throughout the US.

“The very nature of airline travel is being pressed for time,” said Paradies Lagardère Senior Vice President, Food and Beverage Bill Casey. “As a launch partner with Grab, we acknowledge this and we’re working to provide solutions.

“This app provides accurate and comprehensive airport dining information, including concourse information, special offers and personalised content.”

Grab Chief Experience Officer Jeff Livney commented: “Grab has created an enterprise-level product that works for restaurant and retail operators of all sizes, as well as meeting the needs of today’s busy travellers. As a team with deep technical experience in building mobile, kiosk and related software for the travel industry, we truly understand the operational requirements of our partners.”
