Packed social programme revealed for Cannes Exhibition & Conference

TFWA Cannes logo 2016FRANCE. TFWA has revealed details of the social events taking place at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (2 to 7 October).

On Sunday morning a number of sporting activities will be organised, including a yoga class overlooking the sea (sponsored by Rituals) and a regatta sponsored by Paul & Shark. The team contest will see participants competing to sail the Bay of Cannes aboard professionally skippered dinghies.

The popular golf tournament, organised by Gebr. Heinemann and Estée Lauder, and the pétanque competition, sponsored by Haribo, will return on the Sunday. The charity run, which raises money for TFWA Care, will also make its reappearance.

Sunday night sees the traditional opening cocktail take place at the Carlton Hotel. Fireworks, courtesy of the City of Cannes, will round off the evening.

Popular nightspot The Scene will have a new beach location and Le Premium Evening, taking place on Thursday, will offer cuisine prepared by Michelin starred chef Stéphanie Le Quellec. Cuba’s Ballet Revolución will entertain guests with a spectacular dance programme.
