Winners, management and staff celebrate at the prize-giving ceremony |
OMAN. Oman Air and Muscat Duty Free have announced the winners of a series of joint promotions for travellers and staff, in which the top prizes were a number of Kia cars.
Ms Intisar Al Kindy won a Kia Cerato as a customer, while Oman Air staff members Nasseer Al Kindy and Ms Ausara Saleem won a Kia Rio and Kia Picanto respectively.
The winners were announced at a ceremony held at Oman Air Catering, along with various other cabin crew staff who won rewards in different categories. Each winner, together with Oman Air, Muscat Duty Free and Kia Oman managers and staff, as well as members of the media, was then invited to a dinner prepared by the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman’s catering experts.
The presentations followed a series of promotions run during 2013 by Oman Air Inflight Duty Free and Muscat Duty Free. From April, every passenger who spent more than OR50 on Oman Air inflight duty free products was offered the chance of winning a Kia car in the airline’s raffle draw.
In parallel, Oman Air’s Inflight Duty Free teams and staff from Muscat Duty Free also had the opportunity to win one of two Kia cars. One went to the member of staff who sold the most duty free items and the other was awarded to the salesperson with the second highest number of sales.
Oman Air Chief Officer Airport Operations Andrew Walsh said: “I am delighted to have presented these superb cars to our valued customer, Intisar Al Kindy, and to our hard-working members of staff, Nasseer Al Kindy and Ausara Saleem. Congratulations to each of the winners, who I am sure will greatly enjoy driving away their new prizes. I would like to thank all those customers who entered the raffle for taking part. I would also like to thank all those members of the Oman Air Inflight Duty Free and Muscat Duty Free teams whose outstanding efforts have made this promotion a great success.”
