Mumbai Airport adds local seafood restaurant to dining options

INDIA. Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) has opened a new seafood restaurant, Mahesh Lunch Home, at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Terminal 2.

The Mangalorean-based Mahesh Lunch Home chain is renowned for its seafood range. The new outlet, its first in an Indian airport, offers local specialities including coconut curry.

Mahesh Lunch Home, in international Departures, is modelled on ‘Nallu Kettu’, a typical single courtyard house in India. Diners can eat on a ‘verandah’, designed with Rosewood and carved pillars and featuring mood lighting.

Earlier this month MIAL opened Aaswad, another restaurant specialising in local cuisine, which is also located in T2.
