Mondelez World Travel Retail makes two appointments to brand team

Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has announced two new appointments to its brand management team, effective 1 August.

Irina Tarabanko has been named Category Marketing Manager and Maryia Avramenko as Senior Brand Manager for Toblerone. Both will be based in Mondelez WTR’s office in Zürich, Switzerland.

Tarabanko joined Mondelez in 2012 and has held key marketing roles, most recently as Marketing Manager responsible for key local and international biscuit brands across the EEMEA region. In her new role, she will head up the Category Marketing Team and will be responsible for growing Mondelez’s brand portfolio within travel retail.

Richard Houseago, Senior Brand Manager Cadbury, Biscuits, Gum and Candy, Magdalena Maciejewska, Brand Manager Milka and Nordic Chocolate Brands and Maryia Avramenko, Senior Brand Manager Toblerone will report to Tarabanko.

Prior to joining Mondelez, Avramenko worked at British American Tobacco for ten years, latterly as Senior Brand Manager, Global Travel Retail. She will assume full brand management responsibility for Toblerone in travel retail, executing programmes which build the presence of the brand in the channel.
