Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport opens five duty free and specialist stores

MSP_Logo_300USA. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has opened five new stores, including two MSP Duty Free shops run by Dufry. The openings are part of a programme of 50 stores and restaurants scheduled to become operational over the next nine months.

MSP Duty Free store has opened in Concourse D in Terminal 1. Alcohol and cigarettes are only available to international travellers but other product categories are available to all.

Dufry-run MSP Duty Free has also opened in T2. It is the terminal’s first duty free store, according to the airport operator.

Convenience and news retail store Como Park Essentials pays homage to the St. Paul park of the same name. It is operated by Delaware North and is located in Concourse C, T1. The store offers regional merchandise, souvenirs, food, drinks, books and magazines.

Estes Twin Cities News features made-in-Minnesota products, electronics, books and accessories. It is located in Concourse E in T1 and replaces the previous store that was located across the hall.

Fashion outlet Johnston & Murphy has moved location in T1’s Airport Mall, adding women’s clothing and accessories to its offering.

The airport also announced that sandwich chain Subway is scheduled to open in late August in T1’s Airport Mall food court. It was previously located in Concourse G but closed in 2015 to make way for an expanded duty free store, which is expected to open in October 2016.

There is also a Subway in the T2 food court.
