Local heroes: Viking Line turns spotlight on local beauty houses

Viking Line has launched a new concept called Local Beauty Heroes that champions Nordic beauty houses and promotes a selection of niche beauty products. The offering includes fragrances as well as beauty products for the face, hair and body.

The concept lauds “strong women, fascinating stories and Nordic expertise in cosmetics” with a line-up which includes Finland’s Anne Kukkohovi, Sweden’s Yvonne Ryding and Isabella Löwengrip and Denmark’s Marianne Tromborg.

The four women will visit Viking Line vessels throughout the year to talk about their products and provide beauty tips. The dates will be announced via the ferry operator’s social media channels.

Viking Line Purchasing & Sales Manager for Beauty and Fashion Products Eva Rehnström said: “With its Local Beauty Heroes concept, Viking Line wants to spotlight interesting small Nordic beauty brands alongside all the international brands. The women and beauty products included in the concept have unique stories to tell”.
