UK. Leading food & beverage provider SSP has opened a new Leon fast food outlet at Liverpool Street Station in London.
The store is the first of several outlets planned for UK railway stations through SSP’s partnership with the healthy fast food specialist.
The new outlet features Leon’s autumn menu, developed in collaboration with chef, food writer and TV presenter, Gizzi Erskine.
The menu includes new vegan items such as coconut bircher, black bean and avocado pot and sweet potato falafel salad. The Leon X Gizzi Chicken Satay Salad and Leon’s Vegan Superclean Quinoa Salad are also featured along with Pulled Ham Black Bean and Sicilian Chicken Meatball Salad.
Leon CEO John Vincent said the collaboration with Chef Erskine offered the “next chapter in the future of fast food”.
SSP Chief Executive Officer Simon Smith commented: “We are delighted to be bringing this great brand to passengers at London Liverpool Street as well as those who live and work in the local area.
