Lagardère Travel Retail celebrates ‘Partnership of the Year’ award win

FRANCE/AUSTRALIA. Lagardère Travel Retail is celebrating winning the ‘Partnership of the Year’ award at the 32nd annual Frontier Awards.

The success recognises the retailer’s partnership with SumoSalad, which began in November 2015. The first SumoSalad Green Label store in travel retail opened in Sydney Airport’s Domestic T2 terminal. A second SumoSalad will open soon in Sydney Airport’s International Terminal, and 2017 will see the first SumoSalad in Melbourne Airport T2 open, Lagardère said.

The company was also shortlisted at the Frontier Awards in three other categories: ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year by a Retailer’ (Airport Millionaire); ‘Technology Innovator of the Year’ (ACE Robot at Auckland Aelia Duty Free); and ‘Airport Retailer of the Year’.
