LA REUNION. Lagardère Travel Retail has captured the duty free concession at Roland Garros Airport on La Réunion Island. The ten-year contract covers both airside and landside stores, with shop openings phased over the next 12 months.
In the airside zone the retailer will manage one 655sq m Aelia Duty Free store (to open in July 2017), a 75sq m last minute outlet combined with a 35sq m Le Marché Péi store (the latter a local gourmet food brand) plus one 46sq m Pardon! fashion store.
Landside it will run a 150sq m Relay unit and in arrivals a 25sq m Aelia Duty Free store.
