Kusmi Tea opens standalone airport store at Paris Charles de Gaulle

Kusmi Tea has expanded its presence at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with the opening of its first standalone store in Terminal 2F, in partnership with LS travel retail.

Kusmi Tea opened its very first store in 1917 on Avenue Niel in Paris. Today, the company has over 40 stores worldwide, from Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille, to London, Milan, Berlin, Vienna and New York.

The new Terminal 2F store, opened on 19 June, is designed to reflect Kusmi Tea’s corporate identity, with its white walls – a crisp backdrop to the colourful shades of Kusmi packaging – contrasted with the brand’s signature red shade.

There is a nod to Paris, Kusmi Tea’s home base since 1917: a refashioned Eiffel Tower decorated with the company’s iconic tea blossom design, engraved on a glass frontage over two metres high and illuminated in a range of colours. Passengers can also experience the scents of the Kusmi Tea blends via a specially designed furniture display.

With a special focus on assortments and gift boxes, the new outlet stocks the entire range of Kusmi products, including exclusive blends, green and black teas, the Wellness line – Detox, Sweet Love, Be Cool, Algotea, Boost, Euphoria – and the new BB Detox.

Herbal teas from Kusmi’s sister brand Løv Organic, colourful tea accessories and the brand new French Mugs range – red, white or blue mugs decorated with the same floral Eiffel Tower motif – are also available at the store.

Sales staff will be on hand to offer information on the Kousmichoff tea company and the origins of its teas, helping customers choose products and introducing them to the newest launches. Tea tastings will also be held in-store.
