Kipling slows things down with Spring 2017 collection

Lifestyle and accessories brand Kipling unveiled its Spring 2017 collection, inspired by the theme ‘slow living’, at the recent TFWA World Exhibition.

The line, featuring designs created by merging city and country, includes backpacks, handbags and luggage made from crinkle nylon.

Kipling’s Super Hybrid, a half hard/half soft case, is lightweight and has four wheels. The interior features multiple compartments, zippers and secure fasteners.

The City Pack S is a backpack which has a big main compartment with flap and zip closure and three outside pockets.

Art M, described as a leisure bag, can transform into three different shapes. The side zippers unzip to convert the bag from a square to triangular shape.

Lastly, the Superwork bag features different compartments for papers, files, cables and a laptop. It also comes with a trolley sleeve and keycard.

In other news, Kipling introduced its ‘You’re Sew Kipling’ pop-up activation to P&O’s Pride of Kent and Pride of Canterbury ferries for the summer holiday season.

Customers who purchased a bag from the brand’s summer and fall lines had the opportunity to get it embroidered for free. Children’s school bags and pencil cases could also be embroidered.

According to Kipling, during the two events, 90% of purchased products were personalised.
