It’s Time for Tea: Cartwright & Butler joins Traveller’s Trove Cannes line-up

UK tea and confectionery brand Cartwright & Butler (C&B) is aiming to further build its presence in duty free and travel retail following positive sales in the channels.

The brand is represented by Traveller’s Trove and will be highlighted at next month’s TFWA World Exhibition (Red Village J23).

Cartwright & Butler said it aims to recreate old British tea time treats and bring a sense of occasion to whatever and wherever they are enjoyed.

The brand’s products include speciality sweet and savoury biscuits, preserves and chutneys, hot and cold beverages and confectionery. In duty free, C&B said it targets “the gift giver who covets luxury and values family food tradition” with its distinctive packaging.

In Cannes, the brand’s Luxury Salted Caramel Shortbread & English Breakfast Tea tin will be highlighted. The tin contains buttery shortbread rolled in sea salt flakes and caramel crunch and English Breakfast tea.

Traveller’s Trove Managing Diretor Gerry Murray said: “We are really enthusiastic about the performance of the brand where it has been listed. In some locations, in a matter of months, it is already in the top three in the fine food and confectionery category. This is exceptional in a category heretofore dominated by chocolate brands. Innovation is a permanent engine of growth for C&B as a brand which fits perfectly with our mission of bringing innovation to the channel and is critical to the future of this category in duty free.”

Traveller’s Trove will also feature healthy solutions brand Health-iX Travel at TFWA World Exhibition. Traveller’s Trove is partnering with confectionery and drinks manufacturer F. Hunziker + Co AG to introduce the Health-iX Travel range to duty free.
