Hong Kong International reveals new-look luxury retail zone

Hong Kong Airport’s East Hall: Home to 35 leading luxury brands

HONG KONG. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has added ten new luxury brands to its Terminal 1 East Hall portfolio, including a number of firsts for the airport and region. It takes the number of boutiques in the East Hall to 35.

The portfolio includes the first Harrods store in Hong Kong, featuring items from its Food Hall such as tea, biscuits, chocolates and candies, Harrods teddy bears and luxury accessories. The zone aso features the world’s first Balenciaga airport store and the first Asia Pacific airport stores of Moncler and Givenchy. In additional to showcasing watches and fine jewellery, Bulgari introduces the first dedicated Bridal corner to be found at an Asian airport.

Other new brands include Blancpain, Christian Dior, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Miu Miu and Tory Burch, while renovated stores include those for Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Cartier, Gucci and Prada.

At the heart of HKIA’s Departures East Hall (as previously reported), Chanel has opened its largest, first and only duplex store in an Asia Pacific airport, with around 5,000sq ft of luxury retail area, featuring the brand’s signature handbags, fashion, accessories and shoes. Rolex has introduced a spacious two-storey Icon store, designed by the brand’s Interior Design Department based in Geneva.
