US. Global restaurateur HMSHost has partnered with celebrity chef Lorena Garcia to open a tapas concept at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

Lorena Garcia Tapas opened yesterday and is located post-security in the Concourse F Mezzanine of the International Terminal.

The opening of Lorena Garcia Tapas marks the second partnership between HMSHost and Chef Garcia. In 2011, they worked together to open LorenaGARCIA Cocina, which offers healthy snacks and sandwiches designed for the Bacardi Mojito Bar at Miami International Airport.

Chef Lorena Garcia commented: “After successfully entering the airport restaurant arena with the opening of LorenaGARCIA Cocina at Miami International Airport, I was extremely excited to work with HMSHost again on the opening of Lorena Garcia Tapas at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

“I am very proud of this restaurant and the variety of tapas dishes that we’ve created specifically for this location.”

HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Anthony Alessi added: “We are pleased to continue our tradition of excellent restaurants at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

“We are always excited to work with the amazing people at Hartsfield-Jackson, and working with a world-class chef like Lorena Garcia has been an absolute honour.”
