HONG KONG. Hermès has just opened its new-look boutique at Hong Kong International Airport, the latest addition to the airport’s stellar stand-alone luxury line-up.
The boutique is located in Departures East Hall, Level 6. It features the luxury house’s signature magnificent window display.
The product line-up ranges from leather bags and luggage, to silk scarves, jewellery and watches.
Footnote: As revealed by The Moodie Davitt Report earlier today, Airport Authority Hong Kong is to put its core category retail businesses out to tender later this year.
Currently those operations are structured under three individual concessions – liquor & tobacco, perfumes & cosmetics and airside general merchandise (all held by DFS). But that contract mix and resultant space configuration is likely to change markedly, The Moodie Davitt Report can confirm.
