USA. Global restaurateur HMSHost is rolling out a Pokémon Go Lure programme to some of its 2,000 dining locations across the USA.
The programme, based on the hugely popular Pokémon Go smartphone app, will drop ‘Lures’ at HMSHost’s airport and motorway restaurants to attract more Pokémon to the area for guests to catch.
HMSHost is also engaging its local contacts in 50 markets across the country to serve as “Pokémon Leads”. They will activate game-related promotions at a local level, including dropping ‘Lures’, offering refresh and recharge stations to players, and other game tactics.
