Global Exchange opens branches at Geneva and Billund airports

Global Exchange now has 34 branches operating in Europe

DENMARK/SWITZERLAND. Travel money services provider Global Exchange has strengthened its presence in Europe with new openings in Switzerland and Denmark.

The company has opened three branches at Geneva International Airport, two located in Arrivals and the other in Departures, and plans to inaugurate two locations at Billund Airport in Denmark.

Global Exchange has invested €2 million in the project at Geneva and Billund, creating over 40 job opportunities for rendering currency exchange services and tax refunds.

Global Exchange CEO Isidoro J. Alanís said that the addition of branches in Switzerland and Denmark represents a turning point for the strategy of the company, which is now switching its focus to Europe after several years spent expanding in Latin America, North Africa and Asia. “We are present in 17 countries in four continents, in 48 international airports, and we are working on new openings both in and out of Europe,” said Alanís.
