Chanel has partnered with Gebr Heinemann, Media Frankfurt and Frankfurt Airport in an ambitious celebration of the launch of Chanel N°5 L’Eau.
Passengers are invited to follow a ‘Chanel path’ at Terminal A, experiencing the new fragrance in an olfactorium on the way. The journey ends under a N°5 L’Eau arch beneath the glass dome of the terminal. Here, in the ‘raining room’, a virtual rain shower cascades down without a single drop of moisture to dampen the spirits.
The installation will be in place until 31 October.
N°5 L’Eau, created by Chanel’s in-house perfumer Olivier Polge in association with the Fragrance Laboratory, is the fifth interpretation of the iconic N°5 fragrance. This latest incarnation still contains the original notes of rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang but has added citrus notes to create a new freshness.
“Its freshness is essential, which is why we named it N°5 L’Eau,” explained Polge, saying the fragrance balances the weight of the N°5 heritage with a light modernity.
Chanel N°5 L’Eau is available in 50ml and 100ml bottles.
