Gardiners of Scotland finds its niche in ‘old-fashioned’ confectionery

The Famous Grouse 300g
Alternative gift: The Famous Grouse joins Gardiners of Scotland’s array of whisky fudge

Confectionery specialist Gardiners of Scotland is underlining its traditional characteristics in a range of products at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition (M27 Red village).

The brand will present its whisky fudge offer of Jack Daniel’s, Glenfarclas and Glengoyne along with recent addition The Famous Grouse. The individually wrapped caramels are presented in 300g oval tins.

For the gifting sector, Gardiners will highlight Thank You tins of vanilla fudge and Oval Flower tins, with blossom, poppy, purple and Scottish wild flower designs. Both contain 120g of fudge.

Following last year’s TFWA World Exhibition, the company secured listings in a number of European airports, including Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Bremen, Dresden and Basel

“Gardiners fudge is relatively new in travel retail and we are trying to establish ourselves as an alternative niche product in this sales channel,” the brand company stated.

Further launches are planned for 2017.
