Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules is the latest addition to the best-selling Night Repair range. Containing the new dual-action (patent pending) ‘ChronoluxAI Technology’, the ampoules are said to aid the recovery of irritated skin and support the skin’s night-time renewal, helping to strengthen skin against future assaults.
The ampoules contain a precision dose of recovery concentrate with a 100% active formula.
Factors that can cause skin to become over-stressed include lack of sleep, pollution, extremes of weather, travel and the hectic nature of modern life. Skin can respond by triggering a “state of crisis” which results in damaged skin suffering from redness and dryness. This in turn leads to skin looking tired and prematurely aged.
Research carried out by Estée Lauder claims to have pinpointed three phases of irritation: the initiation phase when skin is exposed to assaults; the amplification phase when irritation builds and can begin to lead to premature ageing; and the resolution phase when skin responds to reduce irritation and build resistance.
Estée Lauder believes that the Recovery Ampoules address all three phases in order to soothe, renew and protect skin.
In clinical tests conducted by Estée Lauder on 567 women with stressed skin, the company said 92% of the women agreed their skin felt calmed and soothed and 89% felt Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules “helped their skin recover from daily environmental stressors such as sun exposure, pollution and harsh climates”.
The ampoules are designed to be applied to skin in the evening for two weeks when skin is over-stressed. They can also be used as a pre-treatment for one week before a time of intensified stress and continued as a treatment for two weeks afterwards.
Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules contain 60 ampoules per jar and are suitable for all skin types. The product will be available from Estée Lauder Travel Retail locations worldwide from July 2016.
