DFASS strikes inflight concession deal with TransAsia Airways

TAIWAN. DFASS Singapore has struck a long term duty free concession agreement with TransAsia Airways.

DFASS already has a contract with TransAsia subsidiary V Air and builds on this with a deal covering the parent company.

DFASS Deputy Chairman John Garner said: “We have been working with the group for more than a year and are thrilled to be extending our business relationship. Taiwan has a dynamic aviation sector and is a popular destination for both tourism and business.”

TransAsia Airways was one of the first airlines to be established in Taiwan and was listed on the stock exchange in 2011. It operates around 30 international routes, mainly serving southeast and northeast Asia.
