UK. David Lomas has been named Managing Director at Design Go in a series of senior management changes.
Lomas was previously a director. The new position will see him take on increased responsibilities across the company’s portfolio of businesses, while continuing to drive forward its travel accessories brand, Go Travel.
Current Managing Director Glenn Rogers will move to the position of Vice Chairman, and Steve Wordern has been named Sales Director.
Lomas joined Design Go in 1997 and has played a fundamental role in the company’s development.
Rogers commented: “David has been instrumental in the rapid expansion of Go Travel in recent years and his appointment is recognition of those achievements. The managerial restructure will give our dynamic business the capacity to bolster expansion whilst continuing to maintain a solid footing in more mature markets.”
Lomas added: “I am delighted to take on this new position and look forward to working alongside Glenn with the support of Steve Worden and all of the team to facilitate the ongoing development and commercial success of the Design Go businesses.”
