Colouring outside the lines: MAC offers extreme shades in Liptensity collection

MAC Cosmetics has unveiled a new lipstick range featuring a spectrum of 24 ‘extreme’ shades.

High-Frequency Tetrachromatic Pigments technology has been used to create the Liptensity range.

Tetrachromats are people who have an enhanced sensitivity to colour and can see variants of shades that are imperceptible to most of us. According to MAC, American journalist and author Maureen Seaberg has the genetic ability to see up to 100 million hues that the average naked eye misses. Seaberg has lent her expertise to the development of the Liptensity collection.
