USA. The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) has announced a Midway Airport Concessions “˜Industry Day’ on 12 August through The Moodie Report* (click on the banner announcement on the right hand side of our home page for full details).
The Industry Day event will detail the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, outline procurement requirements and the procurement process for a single-entity concessions operator for Chicago Midway International. Additionally, Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) participation will be up for discussion.
As reported, Chicago Midway International will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a single-entity concessions operator in September, with 20,000sq ft of space added as part of a US$248 million renovation project at the airport.
