INDIA. Senior executives of two blue-chip companies have joined an already formidable speakers’ line-up for The Trinity Forum 2016 in Mumbai (12-14 September).
Cartier Managing Director Travel Retail Asia Michael Guenoun will bring his keen insight to a hard-hitting concluding session on day two themed ‘Telling it straight – how does the future look for our industry? A prophetic final session involving a broad array of Trinity perspectives’.
He will be joined by Dan Cappell, Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Abu Dhabi Airports; Divia Thani, Editor, Conde Nast Traveller India; and a senior retailer to be named soon.
Guenoun recently called for a major rethink into the way luxury items are sold in travel retail, noting: “We believe that the offer in travel retail must change from a transaction to a real experience beyond the acquisition of products.”
Ravi Shankar, IBM’s Global Leader, Travel & Transportation Centre of Competence – Travel & Transportation, will deliver a candid external perspective on changing consumer aspirations. Shankar, a much-respected expert in aviation and general transport, is renowned for having set up IBM’s Global Competence Center for Airports, leading to his current leadership role.
The Trinity Forum, the world’s leading airport commercial revenues conference, will be held at the Trident Nariman Point Hotel in Mumbai.
