British fashion jewellery brand Buckley London has launched its latest range of poppy brooches, in collaboration with The Royal British Legion.
Since 2010, The Poppy Collection brooches have helped to raise over £1 million (US$1.23 million) in funds for the charity, Buckley London stated.
The 2016 collection features updates to classic designs. The gold-tone Sparkle Brooch, with more than 100 siam red crystals, is available in small and large sizes. ‘Lest We Forget’ is engraved on the back.
The silver-tone and red enamel Poppy Collection Silhouette Brooch pays tribute to those who fought in World War I. The range also includes The Poppy Collection Trio of Pins.
Buckley London Founder and Owner Adrian Buckley said: “We are proud to launch The 2016 Poppy Collection designs and look forward to another fantastic year of fundraising. Buckley London has been a long-time supporter of the Legion and we are delighted to be acknowledged as an official partner of the charity, continuing to help raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
The Royal British Legion Director of Fundraising Claire Rowcliffe added: “The Royal British Legion is extremely grateful for the support that Buckley London has shown over the years. The money raised through the poppy brooches helps us continue our vital work providing care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present and their families.”
Prices for The Poppy Collection range from £5 to £25 (US$6.20-US$31). Buckley London donates one third of the RRP from every Poppy Collection product sold to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited, which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion (charity no. 219279).
