Braun will showcase some of its latest innovations in shaving, hair removal and toothbrushes at the TFWA World Exhibition in October (booth P15, Mediterranean Village).
The Braun Series 9 is a gold-coloured titanium coated HyperLift Trimmer. According to Braun, the strengthening coating of the HyperLift Trimmer is designed to reduce friction to deliver a pleasant skin feel. The coating is also said to provide protection from corrosion and improve wear resistance.
Silk-Expert IPL claims to offer an alternative to surface (shaving) and root (epilation) hair removal. The product utilises Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology that emits gentle pulses of light beneath the surface of the skin. Each pulse is optimised to target the melanin in the hair follicle, noted Braun.
When the melanin in the hair follicle and root absorbs the light, it is transformed into heat that breaks the hair’s growth cycle. According to Braun, with continued periodic use the hair becomes weaker, finer, lighter and grows slower.
Silk-Expert IPL does not require any gels, charging or replacement light bulbs.
The Oral-B Genius 9000 and 8000 toothbrush system combines Position Detection Technology with Triple Pressure Control and the Professional Timer to help brush efficiently.
Position Detection Technology combines motion sensor technology located in the brush, and video recognition using the smartphone’s camera to track areas being brushed so that no zone is missed.
The toothbrushes come with a smartphone holder which allows for the phone to be placed on the bathroom mirror for optimal use of Position Detection Technology, and is removable and re-attachable for flexible use.
The Genius 9000 comes with a charging travel case to charge the brush and smartphone or other small device with a single plug.
