Benefit Cosmetics rings in two beauty launches

Described as sexy and romantic, Ring my Bella is inspired by a lingerie shop full of lace and satin

US. Benefit Cosmetics is set to introduce a new fragrance and a mascara from autumn 2011.

Described as sexy and romantic, the edt fragrance Ring my Bella is inspired by a lingerie shop full of lace and satin. The marketing imagery is centred on a lingerie boutique decked out in mauve tones.

Top notes in the juice are pink rose petals, lily and daisy, while middle notes include Egyptian jasmine and peony and bottom notes consist of white patchouli, vanilla tincture and white musk.

Available in Autumn 2011, the Ring my Bella edt is presented in a cocktail shaker-style bottle with a mauve-coloured juice and a gold top. The retail price is £29.50/€43.00.

They’re Real mascara

They’re Real is the name of Benefit’s new mascara, featuring a specially designed brush with staggered bristles to boost lash length and volume. The custom-made tip is said to lift, define and curl the lashes.

Available from August 2011, the long-wearing black mascara retails at £18.50/€24.50.

In a consumer panel survey, 94% saw dramatic length and volume; 90% saw base-to-tip curl; 94% saw visible lift; and 100% saw long-wearing results, the company said.
