ATÜ Duty Free hosts unique Chanel No 5 installation at Istanbul Airport

TURKEY. Chanel is partnering ATÜ Duty Free and Gebr Heinemann to introduce a unique installation for Chanel No 5 at Istanbul Atatürk International Airport. The pop-up concept will be open from 1 December to 15 January to introduce passengers to the iconic brand.

Chanel’s artistic department has created a striking design for the 50sq m space, which is housed in ATÜ’s main store. The shell is shaped like a jewellery box, with the black and white colour scheme and emerald-cut edges that are hallmarks of Chanel No 5.

The installation will feature the latest brand communication from Chanel No 5, with Brad Pitt becoming the first male face of the feminine fragrance. And Chanel said that sales advisors will be on hand to guide passengers through the experience.

In a statement Chanel said: “The communication of No 5 has always made its mark on its time with its strong creative direction and daring approach. Now, this exceptional fragrance will meet passengers from across the world in a unique surrounding at the heart of Istanbul Atatürk Airport.”

Gebr Heinmann is a stakeholder in ATÜ Duty Free through its shareholding in Unimex, which is TAV Airports Holding’s partner in the ATÜ venture.
